Ive been dealing with this issue for 4 weeks now, prior to this I had two bad bowel problems, 1st one was a rather LARGE bowel movement that was almost impossible to pass, then I woke up out of a sound sleep with bad cramp ran to the bathroom and had "D", then this pain hit a week later....not sure if they are related. It doesnt stay in lower right it will go to my upper right rib area then move across my upper stomach.
2 weeks ago I went to the ER thing maybe appendicitis, they did blood work and physical exam..everything was normal. Sent me home to follow up with my dr.
Dr is sending me for colonoscopy on the 13th and a sonogram on the 15 of this month. My Dr thinks I have IBS.
Virtually any digestive disorder will cause these symptoms. Best wait til you have the colonoscopy and sonogram, they will pick up whatever it is. Otherwise you would be thinking of dozens of possibilities, and get really stressed out. Good luck
I am having pains on the right side of abdomen and like you, have been trying to figure out what is wrong.
I finally decided to get a colonoscopy done so I'm going by office tomorrow to get instructions for it.
I had a pelvic ultra sound done and everything was ok there so it must be bowel, or whatever problem.
I would take the advice of getting it checked.

How long have you been having your pain?
I did get it checked out, went to the ER then follow up with my Dr 3 days later.
I have a colonoscopy scheduled for the 13th and sonogram on the 15th of this month.
Besides this is there something else I should be doing?
