I was wondering if a CT scan would be able to show a small puncture in your bowel? I know that either MRI or CT (can't remember which) is able to see things as small as 2mm. But if a puncture is smaller than that would they still be able to tell? I'm asking this b/c I woke up last night with the worst pain all over my abdomen area, I threw up a couple of times and had a low fever at 100.5. And long story short, it is possible that I did puncture my bowel yesterday. I've stopped throwing up and don't have much of a temp anymore but the pain is still there. I know that puncturing a bowel is serious and I think if that were the case I would be much sicker right now, but I'm just wondering about it. Has anyone experienced a punctured bowel and if so how did they find it? Thanks ~
