 Pimple/knot under the skin near anus
Hi! I have a problem. A few weeks ago I had a pimple near the anus. But it's not on the anus but on the cheek. It became a bit infected and I treated it with antibiotic cream and it stopped being infected and also stopped hurting. However, the pimple is still noticable under the skin. It has turned into a knot. I know this from other places for example on the back where you get a pimple and then it becomes a knot and it takes a long time until it disappears. But this time it's on the butt cheek. Shall I simply wait for it to go away or shall I try to pop it and see if there's pus under the skin? If there is pus under the skin then can the body remove it on its own or do I have to pop it?
