Re: spinal stenosis and loss of bowel control

It could very well be connected although you usually experience bladder problems first. I have prolapsed neck disc with bone pressing on my spinal cord although I do not have stenosis. I have been told that inability to empty the bladder or bowel is considered much more serious than incontinence as it will obviously harm your body whereas incontinence won't.

I would suggest you tell your Dr of your suspicians as they may want to do further tests.
