Exclamation VERY bloody stools

I did a search of previous threads, but cannot find a situation just the same as mine...

I am freaking out. 30 years old. No history of bowel problems in the least, not even constipation. I had two bowel movements on Friday and one yesterday that were extremely bloody . . . the blood is bright red and does not seem to be in my stool, but comng from my anus . . . and it's enough to make the toilet water VERY red.

My girlfriend wanted to rush me to the emergency room, but I called my gyno who said as long as I am not having pain or frequent movements (I am not having either) that I can wait until Monday and make an appointment with a gastroenterologist.

I have been a wreck with nerves this weekend. I plan to call a gastroenterologist first thing tomorrow morning. Has anyone had the same problem?
