I'm wondering if it's normal to have a lot of diarrhea the day after a barium enema. I'm going in for an ultrasound today. I have a lot of symptoms which have been very worrisome for me: bloating, blood in/on stool (not for the past month though-sorry if this is too much information), alternating diarrhea, constipation (though increased fiber has helped), low right dull achey abdominal/pelvic pain, intermittent nausea and a lot of anxiety. I haven't received the results of the barium enema yesterday except that I have several diverticula on the left side of the colon and a couple on the right side. I'm doing research about how to take care of this.

On one other note, has anyone gone through the ending of a marriage while getting diagnosed? Is it possible to deal with these health problems alone?
