This is rather in embarassing and I don't want to ask my doctor but for about the past month I have had soft stools with blood and this white slimy stuff every time I have had a bm. I'm worried it's something serious but I don't want to overreact either.

hi, you do need to see the Doc, it sounds like a flare up of Ulcerative Colitus, but they will need to investigate. Don' get embarressed, always remember the Docs have seen it all before. I was embarressed at first but now I don't worry (UC sufferer). Please go and see your Doc and get it sorted.
