3 days and can't go - Bowel Disorders Message Board

I had been having lower back pain - went to doctor last week she prescribed
Mobic and Norflex (I got the substitutes) I took 1 of them Sat. morning the mobic sub. On Sat. night I got diarrhea really bad that night - went about 3 times and Sun also about 3 times. Well I didn't take either one of the pills anymore. Today is Wed. and I haven't been to the bathroom since Sun. Called the doctor and she told me to take miralax. So I took some about an hour ago and bought some apple juice. I am getting really uptight - my stomachs hurts but when I go there is nothing. Any help would be appreciated! I think I will take an Ativan to help calm me down

Actually Norflex was the one I took that morning - a yellow tablet - once a day - I'm wondering if that's what got me so sick.

It might be possible that your bout with diarrhea (never could spell that word) may have cleaned you out so well that you may not need to have another bowel movement yet. I'd probably wait another day or so and see what happens. If you'd rather not wait, you might try a tapwater enema or a glycerine suppository to help you get going again.
