Anyone ever deal with this? A pediatric GI wants my 5 year old son to have a colonoscopy because he thinks this is the reason for some rectal bleeding.

I did a search when I came home...the doctor told me once they go in and get rid of them they won't come back. But some of the things I've read are scary so I'm looking for real people that know first hand what this is about.

Any input is appreciated.
