Extreme Fullness after Colonoscopy - Need Help!

This question is from my husband: His words: I am a 54 year old man who had a colonoscopy last Thursday, August 30th. The procedure went fine....the doc found multiple polyps and removed them for further microscopic exam. I was told to go home and resume my normal diet. Here's the problem: Since then I have eaten semi-normal meals, continue to take my stool softener and fiber which I've done daily for many months. But, I haven't had a bowel movement since the morning of the procedure and now when I try to eat I become extremely full after just a few bits of solid food. It is extremely uncomfortable to the point of almost being painful. I called the doc today (Sunday) and he returned the call saying he wasn't really worried about it and to continue eating and if the feeling didn't go away within another 24 hours I should go to the emergency room. Has anyone experienced these kinds of feelings after having the colonosopy? What did you do to remedy the situation? Did you resume your normal diet after the procedure? I seem to be able to get away with drinking anything I want and eating things like noodle soup, but anything else just sits like a rock and fills me up after 2 bites. Please help! Thanks so much: Memere

He was probably pumped with air to open up the colon , could be a whole lot of gas! could be a air pocket , try charcoal tablets or mintec , ask your chemist .:
