Question advice

i am a 35 female who eats horribly! my body is paying for it! i have had 2 colonoscopys in the last 4 years and have had several polyps removed each time. ever so often i get a toilet bowl of blood after a bm. it's becoming more frequent and appears to be even more blood. i know i need to change my eating habits but i fear its too late to reverse the years of bad eating. i couldn't tell you the last time i ate a salad or a piece of fruit. i am tired of not feeling well and being overweight. i am more upset over allowing myself to get to this point.

i know we are not allowed to give medical advice on here but i am looking for someone other than me to give me their opinion; should i just try to eat better and monitor my bms for awhile or call my doctor and schedule yet another dreaded colonoscopy? my last one was about 10 months ago.
