Rectal pressure and penis pain
For 2 years, I have had intense rectal pressure, which seems more evident when I'm laying on my side. But, I also have penis pain, which becomes exacerbated by bowel movements or passing gas even. However, after 3 urologists evaluated me, they couldn't find anything, and said my prostate should not be causing these symptoms since it isn't enlarged. I had a colonoscopy which was normal too. This all seemed to come on all of a sudden. My new theory is it's some kind of neuromuscular problem, but I just can't help but think there's some kind of physical issue in this area. I mean it feels like the organs have permanently come in closer proximity to each other or something. I understand how stool can pass near the prostate and cause this problem, but this is insane to have it even when not passing stool and even just passing gas. It's like a pressure that seems to originate on the underside of my penis area and goes through it towards the tip. Other times, it seems to originate in the perineal area.
So, if my prostate isn't enlarged and my anorectal area looks normal, what else can I consider?
