| ibd, gastritis
can anyone tell me what gastrtitis is?
i had inflammtion in my bowel or gastritis from an endoscopei think in my large intestine.
was given loranzeprole. it is important to mention my trip to the hospital was for severe stomach aches headaches dizzyness. ok and i had lost over half of my body mass at least.i was to weak to feed or pick up a cup i had to be fed through a nasal tube. i was very deficient in vit d b12 iron folate.
heres the horrible bit and probably what saved me i made them do a skin test for tuberculosis and it was highly positive. the chest doctor put me on antibiotics for at least six months the gastro didn't want to know. they dont know where the tb is have taken bone marrow to try and grow it. i think they should have taken a stool sample.
wht puzzles me is that i had spondilitis eye inflammtion ulcers anal fissure mouth ulcers all prceding this aswell as bowel trouble. i just feel there is something autoiimune or like ibd going on. i heard there is a tenuous link between the bacteria and the symptons.however the mesalazine i had helped a bit previously but the antibiotics on now have brought my weight stright up i almost died i think, so it must be infection making me ill. any thoughts or familiar stories i need some tlc right now this has been going on for two yyears. is anything my doctor couls give me except tb meds and lorazeprole to help ease my symptons
