Definitely it can affect your colon..it's a natural laxative...how much are you taking? Have you tried nixing it to see if your symptoms improve?

I've read that it's actually not that great for joint inflammation.

Have you considered MSM for your joint pains/inflammation? I just started taking it..trying to cut down on Tylenol and Aspirin.

What other meds are you on and what type of thyroid problem do you have?
