Need Help with Bowels after Meds taken

Hello. I take meds for migraines (pain meds), and the day after I take the meds I do not have a bowel. My stomach does not hurt or anything, but I usually have one or two per day. Then I could go about 5 days, and my stomach will begin to hurt a lot, so I will find something at the store. I think my insides are just too dried up for me to go. Is there anything I can take with this meds that will help my bowels stay normal? I don't feel as if they're not coming together in there, but more like everything is just too dry making it feel like I don't really have to go and making it so I cannot go. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
