I had my bowel resection last October and have gotten along fabulously----but in the past several weeks, it seems like I have an inordinate amount of gas. I can hardly keep from passing it when I'm out in public (and it's very odiferous) Also, it seems like I have several small BMs during the day instead of my normal once a day in the morning. I have an appt. (final one) with the surgeon in two days. He wants me to take 2 Fleet enamas, one two hours before my appt. and the other one hours before. I hope he's not planning on doing a sygmoidoscopy to check on how things have healed. Anyone have a 3 month follow-up appointment with their surgeon---what did he do??????
