Bowel problems

Can IBS cause an inflamation that can cause bleeding and mucus?

Re: Bowel problems

Have you had a colonoscopy?

Blood in the stools or on the TP is generally not associated with IBS, although it can come from other things like hemroids.

I had the occasional blood in my stools, but no mucus that I know of...as of this date I am still diagnosed with IBS with internal hemroids.

I would talk to your doctor about having a colonoscopy if you haven't already done so.

Best,

A.
