Well i have had this/these issues for at least 8 or 9 years now. I have chronic constipation that I can sometimes relieve using different fruit and psyllium husk. I know that I'm getting more than enough water, fruits, and veggies. I tried eliminatiing all foods one at a time to see if a certain one was the culprit and nothing seemed to make a difference. I did notice that nuts seemed to make the matter worse. I believe that this chronic constipation is the reason I have hemorrhoids . I have lots and lots of blood about 90% of the time during a bowl movement. Sometimes to the point that I have to hold a tissue on my anus from the commode to the shower just to avoid getting blood all over the floor. I cant even think about wiping as it will just lead to more bleeding and pain. I saw a doctor who specialized in colon issues and had a colonoscopy done which all checked out fine. HE TOLD ME TO JUST PUT A TISSUE BACK THERE UNTIL IT STOPPED BLEEDING!!! I just got back from a gastrointestinal doctor and he said that everything looks fine and to take miralax 3x a day which i tried already but will give anothe try. He also prescribed some butt cream to relieve pain and suggested 3 warm baths a day. These are anly going to treat the symptons... not the cause. I believe that I have both external and internal hemorrhoids with the internal being the more serious bleeders. I recently discovered that I can push them back in while in the shower which relieves the pain but this is not how someone should have to live. I was at yoga with my girlfriend last week and i started bleeding so much that I got my yoga mat wet with blood. Thank god it was dark in there and I could sneak out without anyone seeing me. So anyone with some good advice out there is what I'm looking for. Maybe a doctor who will understand my issues or is this something I will just have to live with??? BTW I live in the Phoenix AZ area for anyone who can recommend a real doctor.
