stomach pain - Bowel Disorders Message Board

is there anyone else the finds when they eat yogurt they have pain it their upper left quadrant of the colon? it seems whenever i eat certain foods, yogurt being one i have pain about 5 minutes later. I also can not sleep on my left side nor my right side. The minute I do I have the same kind of pain and it will keep me up or keep me from getting any restful sleep. I feel like the walking dead the next day. Diareha has subsided that does not seem to be a problem. I am thinking of eating more like what is on the south beach diet. Anyone have any suggestions?

?Gall Bladder. Left side pain, does it radiate to your back. Does it bother you more during the night? Subsides by morning? Also if it is a gall bladder problem, changing to the South Beach diet may not be a good thing. Foods high in fat are difficult to digest with a bad gall bladder
