My wife had been suffering her worst Ulcers Clotis outbreak ever. It started in October and also had the mouth sores and joint swellings. I read where some people are intolerant to gluten and once they cut it out of there diet they were better. So she tried this and with in one week her UC flare was completely gone! This is something she had lived with all her life and all of sudden its gone. She said she has never felt so good in her life and is now running 6 miles a day. I saw someone else say they had cut out wheat but lots of things have gluten in them. I know this want solve everyone's problem but if this helps one person then it was worth posting. I find it ridiculous though that after 15 years of seeing Doctors not one ever recommended her to try this.

I have been reading for years about ulcerated colitis and the problems it causes many people.
This is so interesting and Important to so many people--- Would you mind writing a short post about it in the Information Archive at the top of this page so it is not lost.

I have been on a gluten free diet ever since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease. It's not at all easy, as there is gluten in so many foods. But the change can be remarkable once a gluten free diet is initiated.
