Can ob/gyn look at this?

I've noticed small streaks of bright red blood on my toilet paper after a bowel movement for several weeks now. I'm going to the OB/GYN tomorrow. Can he look at this for me? Or is it more appropriate to ask a family doctor?

Re: Can ob/gyn look at this?

If you're already going to the OB/GYN, definitely talk with him about it. Mine always does a rectal exam with the pelvic exam and also does a fecal blood screen.

Good luck,
Maggie
