I think I possibly get the same thing. I've been constipated for four years and I've got an anal fissure that won't go away because I pass hard stools, so I guess my lump may be caused by that. However, I guess it could be a seperate thing. When I wipe, I often feel a lump but it's at the right side of my anus and I always think of it as a swelling. So perhaps your anus swells due to the pressure of your huge stool and the force of the strains on it as you push it out. I wouldn't say it was piles (hemorrhoids) because they're usually no bigger than grapes and really hurt (never had them but my mum says they're painful and bleed). If you're that worried, go to a doctor. I had to go with my anal fissure. They'll probably have to have a look at your anus in all its glory but a nurse had a look at mine and it wasn't actually embarrassing. It's more a relief than anything. Good luck.
