| Re: Advice regarding hemorrhoids and chronic constipation
I'm quite sure that by now you know about the benefits of prune juice by treating constipation. In general, if you adjust your diet and eat 80% alkaline forming foods and only 20% acid forming foods you should resolve the problem with constipation. Acid forming foods and drinks are causing constipation and causing weak veins, while alkaline forming foods are helping with digestion. Soda, coffee, black tea, alcohol is all highly acid forming, therefor, the best you can do is to eliminate them from your menu. Drink good quality water, by good quality I mean water with a pH of 7.5 or higher. A tb spoon flax seed oil ( linseed oil), rich in omega-3 fatty acid, mixed with yoghourt in the morning should also help. Flax seed oil acts as a buffer for excess of stomach acid, and sooths irritable bowel disorders. All medications are acid forming. If you're on medications before taking flax seed oil check for possible interactions. Furthermore, if you are on medications , check if you can replace them with natural treatment options. I'm having MS, not moving, and had constipation for many years. I succeeded to have daily bowel movement with the change in diet. As for the hemorrhoids you may try Rue Care Oil.
