I am a 31 year old have recently been diagnosed all though the problem has been going on for 18months, with functional bowel disorder. Diverticulitis, prolaspes bowel and fissula. I have spent most of august in hospital. They cause me a lot of pain bleeding sickness and consipation. I had to have klean prep to go to the loo and anybody that had this know what is does. So can not leave the house hen I have taklen this. I did'nt realise how deplitating a bowel condition is. I am so tired a lot is to do with the medication I take I am on beprenorphine patches and antisickness drugs. I am also on a soft diet as anything to hard can not be digested. I feel on my own whist the daoc aren't so bad the A & E staff can be horrible sometimes. They do not understand what it is so don'tknow how to treat it. However as with some doc they don't like being told what to do. At my worst have not got the energy to shower myself and my mum has to wash and believe me this isn't me. I have lots of other health issues and none of these stop me. Is there anyboby out there that feels the same as me.
