That is a loaded question! It varies wildly from person to person depending on a miriad of factors.
I have posted just about everything that happened with mine in the thread called My Hemorrhoidectomy Story.
It wasn't as awful as I thought it would be. But most men who I've read posts from have had a more difficult time than I had. Then again, I've had 2 babies with stitches and all including the hemorrhoids during labor that I have something more painful to compare this to.
