Hi, I have had this issue for many many years, maybe most of my life. I'm just about 28, and these are my symptoms. My anus is always itchy and very soar at times. I've stayed away from spicy foods but this doesn't really help. I mostly have blood on the toilet paper when I wipe, and the odd time there is blood in the toilet and sometimes on the waste. All the time when I go the waste never seems the have been released out to the toilet, I could wipe all day and still have brown streeks and some blood. I always feel like I never completely went to the washroom. I have tried hemroid cream and it doesn't help. Do I have extenal hemroids? Also can the inflamation prevent you from pooping everything out? It really bothers me as i go to the washroom at least 3 or more times a day and when I walk or sit down it feels like I've pooped myself or I am in pain. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. One more thing there is a laser hemroid removal in my city and was thinking of trying it.

Hello there. Sounds to me like your problem is due to an anal fissure not hemorrhoids though you could have some internal hemorrhoids but I doubt they would cause the itchiness around your anus. If you read my thread entitled 'do any of these oils really work' you might try what I am trying at the moment as surgery seems to be the only cure from what you read on these boards and I am trying desperately to avoid it. The surgeon has to cut your sphincter muscle to allow it to relax enough to allow blood to get to the fissure to allow it to heal as it is probably in spasm which restricts the blood flow to it. Trouble is there is a 10% possibility that the operation can result in incontinence so it would be in your interest to try to cure it yourself as I am attempting. Good luck, kennyboy.
