Everytime I run on the treadmill my stomach starts churning, and I get extreme explosive gas, and sometimes explosive gas along with explosive diahrea. What is this? It's getting annoying to me, because I feel like I can run longer when I reach my goal mileage sometimes, and want to keep going, but then my stomach feels like I'm having food poisoning cramps and I have to cut it short and rush out of the gym basically. Anyone ever have this happen?
I've struggled with constipation all my life, which really is miserable and I get this way too sometimes when I'm running.
When running it loosens up your stomach muscles, making it easier to have a bowel movement. If you're eating a bad diet of high-sugar, high-fat, high-carb foods you're going to probably feel uncomfortable every time you run. I've noticed after switching my diets to really healthy, I have no upset stomach and no problem. Remember to be hydrated with lots of water too. If you change your diet and still have problems then I would go see your doctor!
well, my diet is not the problem, as i am very picky about what I eat, and how much. high protein, vegetables, grains in the AM, no excess salt, ect... I've had colonoscopy, says i'm fine for the most part. hmm, guess your right about the stomach muscles, that makes sense.
