New Colonoscopy Prep ?

I read where there is a doctor in Conneticut who is using colonic irrigation as a colonoscopy prep. He reports great success with it. The big advantages: no strong laxatives, no drinking large volumes of salt water and no fasting the day before. The key seems to be that the colonic is done right before the exam. He does it in the hospital/clinic. I wonder if anyone knows about this or whether anyone has actually used this method. I have used water enemas before, but had to take a number of them and still had to fast. This sounds much better.
