| Lump in Stomach/Possibly Scar Tissue/Adhesions connected to small intestine
It's been on and off for years now, but I have been constipated quite frequently with pain when I push . . . sometimes so extreme I stop pushing and often cry. Lately, it's worsened. I feel the pain all the time. My stools are flat or and when they are not I have diahrea. I can feel my intestines twisting at times and I frequently have abdominal cramping. . . not to be confused with menstrual cramping as I've had a hydrothermal ablation and don't have cycles anymore. The pain feels like a ball, especially when my Bowels are full and it feels like someone is punching me from inside when I sit. I thought it may be a hernia as I've had several.
Went to Doctor and he asked how many female surgeries I've had . . . the answer is several with the last one being an Oopherectomy on the left side . . . exactly where the pain is located. He felt a ball and explained he believes it to be scar tissue. He wants to do an ultrasound.
Do ultrasounds reveal adhesions? IF not, is there a possiblity he may be looking for something else? What course of action can I expect after the ultrasound?
