| Does diverticulosis Attack? Just diagnosed
I have been experiences "attacks" of lower right abdominal pain. They seem to come in spurts...often waking me up in the night, and lasting 2-6 hours. I wil have them for a few days, and they will disappear for awhile. The pain was enough to bring me into the ER more than once.
Over the last year, I have had enough of these attacks to consult a GI Dr., who ordered a endoscopy/colonoscopy, an abdominal MRI. I was diagnosed with IBS/diverticulosis, but also an ovarian cyst, and an elevated Cancer antigen level.
I don't know what's what! What exactly are the typical symptoms of a divertulosis attack?
