Irregular bowel movement after meal
I have had this issue now for several years:
After eating a meal (not usually breakfast), i have a bowel movement within 30 minutes, but normally within 10-15 minutes of finishing the meal. It would seem that the most common of these movements is after lunch, although it can occur after an evening meal as well.
Most times, this movement is along the VERY URGENT type - as in needing a bathroom in the next 30-6 seconds or there will b e a major problem. When this occurs, it is usually diarrhea, light brown to almost flourescent yellow in color. Other times (although not as common, maybe 5%), it is a soft to normal stool, but still as urgent.
There have been occasions where mild to medium heartburn occurs, and sometimes mild chest pain as well - I just figure it has to do with the particular meal.
My diet is normal to "needs improvement". Life Screening has completed testing and cholesterol and blood sugars are normal, if not better than normal.
I have read several posts, threads and blogs, and yet can get do definitive answer (Fabry, Habba, IBS...). I do not want to approach my doctor with a slew of possibilities, as he is rather temperamental and would view me is some sort of oddball or nut-job (no, I'm not changing doctors). If I could present with some sort of clear possible disease, it would help.
Any help that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.
