C diff- flagyl worked now bloody stool

I was on Ceftin for an infection and started to have diarrhea. After a lot of testing and over a 3 week period, it was determined that I had C. Diff. I had a 14 day treatment of Flagyl. I waited a week and had a stool sample that tested Negative. Now, for the past 2 days I've noticed blood in my stool. Does anyone know if this is an after effect of the C. Diff. I have occasional problems with hemmorhoids but even with 6 weeks of diarrhea from the C. Diff, I never saw blood like this. It's not a lot but sure is noticeable in parts of the stool and on the tp. Hope someone replies.

C. diff can cause bleeding but usually only during the acute infection. This might be related to hemorrhoids being exacerbated by the recent illness. You might need a colonscopy if you havn't had one recently.
