I'm new and a little scared

Hi I am new here....I am a 45 year old wife and mother and a little scared. This morning I noticed a little mucus tinged with blood in my stool. It was a minute amount. This scared me. Does anyone know what this could be? No other symptoms and no blood in toilet or toilet tissue. I am going to post this same thread over in cancer- colon and rectal as well. Need feedback please.

Re: I'm new and a little scared

Im new too and I have extreme rectal bleeding no one knows whats going on im only 20, but what color is the stool, is it a tarry black or just a regular brown. Tarry black is a SIGN of possible cancer but if its normal color your prob ok but still get it checked out
