HI bibm,
I've been taking Align for many months for a sphincter problem and there really are no side effects other than improving evacuation for me. I imagine they're all a bit different but I haven't heard much about a concern about side effects from most people. Good luck with your decision.

gas and bloating would be two of the side effects. I take mine at night before bed on an empty stomach about 2 hours after my medications.
