jhartmann78 Newbie (male) Join Date: May 2010 Posts: 2	tightness in abdomen Feeling a tightness in the middle/left of upper abdomen, below sternum. Feels like the muscle wall is rigid and is pushing in. Causes lots of gas, often I feel it rolling around in the abdomen, but am not able to pass it. Sometimes becomes extremely painful, and disrupts my normal bm. Often I will pass solids, but not the gas, which then become extremely painful. Had colonoscopy and also scan of the upper gi. Nothing. Any thoughts would be welcome.
