Diarrhea

Hi everyone

I dont kno if this is the right forum to be posting? For the last few days I have some issues.
I keep needing to go to the toilet, but when I do go its hardly nothing, and is runny.
I have noticed today that I need to go after eating. When out and about it feels as if i cant hold it in, but then when I do go its hardly nothing or I cant go at all.

What do you thinnk this is? My diet, or what?

Thanks
Katrina

P.S sorry if that was too much info, but its really starting to effect me now.

Re: Diarrhea

It could be your diet. Some people have problems with dairy. Have you been eating a lot of dairy?

I eat alot of junk food. I thought this could of been the cause. But i have also just started my menstrual cycle and realised I had blood coming from my rectal area.

I went to the walk in centre and they said it shouldnt be anything to worry about, but if it persists then to go to my doctor.

Re: Diarrhea

have you ever had a colonoscopy? Sounds like u need to have one. Symptoms need to be addressed with the blood, that's not normal

Re: Diarrhea

It may be caused by not getting enough water soluble fiber in your diet. For normal BMs a person needs 25 to 35 gms daily both soluble and insoluble fiber.

I have been using psyllium seed husk fiber supplement for 28 years. I started with Metamucil but now I use the plain type from the Vitamin Shoppe.
