| Re: questions about polyps
settingsun,
Without being a doctor, I do not know, but I still have some words of encouragement for you...
I understand your concern, but my best advice to you is to take the focus off of the possibilities, until after you get your colonoscopy, and your doctor has the results back.
Although worry is a human response to so many things, it is not healthy at all, and has no ability to fix anything.
I have had colonoscopy myself, and I assure you that the preparation and the anticipation are the worst part. Once you are done, you will be so relieved and I know I was mad at myself for getting so worked up about it. These days it is a routine and quick procedure. Polyps are removed for biopsy, and gone from your body, and you wont remember a thing!
Please come here for support if you need it. We all understand, I promise. I am also interested in what yours turns out to be, if you could let us know after it is over...Don't worry-be happy!
