Averyone talk about the horrible pain of an hemorrhoidectomy, but what kind of pain did you feel?

Types of pain:

1) IS THE PAIN, LIKE A SHARP,THROBBING, SUDDEN EPISODES OF PAIN (as if someone pinched you repeatedly with a needle in the area)?
If this is the type of pain: how bad is it?
Is it calmed by pain killers or warm/cold baths?


OR

2) is it more like a "steady and prolonged pain (like a headache in the anus)"? If this is the type of pain: "how bad is it?
Is it calmed by pain killers or warm/cold baths?

How many days did you suffer the pain? 10? 15?
