Hiya!
Ok, so a week ago I had one of those first appointments with a doc that was pretty embarrassing.
I have had IBS since an infant (pediatricians said it would go away...hahahaha!) And I have had hemmroids since I was 14 or so.
This triggered an intrest in my new doctor and he made sure I had hemmroids (embarrassing? just a bit!) After confirming he still wanted to check further after I told him I get episodes where I go to the bathroom and there is a ton of blood in the toliet along with IBS cramping and no hemmroidal pain, I do not strain either nor is the stool hard.
So I just turned in some hemmocult fecal blood tests today.

This monday I started one of the episodes and it's lasted 3 days so far with almost constant abdominal aching with occasional painful cramps when I go to the bathroom. Blood in toilet and blood clots too. The stool is not dark in color and the blood is a pretty lighter red it's not DARK dark at all.

Along with that this week I have also had a slight stomach upset but not bad to where I feel nauseous. I have gotten slight motion sickness at the same time yesterday when riding in an SUV at lunch time. I will get sharp pains in the abdomen and sides here and there. My pants fit alittle tighter lately yet I haven't gained any weight. I also have not been losing weight for no reason so I guess that's a good sign

Just trying to figure out if anyone with IBS has these issues ever and if not if anyone has a clue as to what could this be?



Diverticulitis sounds similar to my symptoms but I don't know. I feel like I'm falling apart with this on top of odd blood tests that COULD but hopefully doesn't point toward kidney or adrenal issues and also my thyroid problem.
