Bowel pain after surgery

I recently had my gall bladder removed and have experienced labour type of pains since. I have had every test done and keep being told I'm healthy. I ended up in emergency and the doctor said he thinks when they pulled the gall bladder out through the belly button, the bowel was pressed against the belly button and has adhered to it.
Apparently they don't bother rectifying the problem until the patient is totally unable to go. In the meantime, I suffer the last part of delivering a baby daily, along with bloating, tiredness, and am unable to stand for longer than 10 min.
I'm hoping someone else has had a similar experience and found a way to live a half way normal life. Or is it that I shall be on Buscopan for the rest of my life??
