 Passing Blood - need advice
Hi, long story short -
I have external hemmoroids and have had bleeding off and on for a year. More off than on. For the past few months I have had alot of bad itching - almost to the point of scratching myself raw. Now I have started to pass blood again - it is very bright red and drips in the toilet for a second or two after a bowel movement. BM's range from very loose to skinny and squared off looking.. I don't bleed everytime.
I have an appointment with a GI doc but cannot get in until the end of September. Should I call them and try to get in sooner? Will a month of waiting really make much of a difference?
I'm scared to death of having cancer. I have a 6 year old who about two weeks ago asked me what would happen to her if I died and she was still a little girl. Broke my heart and now I cannot stop crying everytime I look at her since this has started back up.
