constantly irritated intestines

I ve been diagnosed with IBS since 1997. 2 endoscopys both revealed an irritated stomach with no reason for why. Had gall bladder removed in february, it was only working at 4% and having some flare ups. But my intestines have felt irritated for the last several years. Im on 1 prilosec and synthroid every morning. I started taking Questran after the gall bladder removal to help with some of the intestinal irritation with some success. But still dealing with constant irritation that just seems to be getting worse. Not usually diarrhea but lots of loose stools. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: constantly irritated intestines

No, but I consume alot of dairy without the usual lactose intolerance symptoms. Does a gluten allergy cause a constant problem? I really dont eat alot of bread products just cereal. Thanks for replying.
