Hi to everyone.

For more than a year now I have a problem with blood when I poo

At the beginning I had really bad stomach pains as well.
I went to the doctor who prescribed me fiber.
It did help a lot with stomach pain. Blood didn't really disappear.
I did have endoscopy done as well and everything looked ok.
No hemorrhoids, cuts etc. I've been told to eat more products with a lot of fiber.
I do eat a lot of fruits and other products with high amount of it.
Although it did help with stomach pain but it didn't with blood issue.

Every time I go to the toilet it hurts me just at the end of the bowel on one side. There is really a lot of blood. After that it hurts and burns badly for few good hours. Sometimes I feel proper week after that.
I'm male, 28, never had anal sex or anything that could cause it.

It really is, as you call it "pain in the ***".
What should I do now?
Anyone?

Firstly, did you take a look-see yourself by squatting over a mirror. You might have a fissure in the anus that would bleed upon bms.

Do you ever have bms where it's ONLY blood and mucus?

The fact that you also have stomach discomfort might be related if you have rectal inflammation.

Have you tried any zantac or an acid reducer to see if that symptom is helped? Could be the worry alone that's not related to the rectal stuff.

You absolutely need to go back to another specialist.
Did you have a complete colonoscopy?

If you do have the scope, make sure the doctor does lots of biopsies, especially if you do not have anything such as fissure or hemmies.

Thank you for your reply.
I did have a good look today at the place where it hurts me and looks
like i have a sort of bump with cut there. When I pressed it with finger it showed blood straight away.
What should I do with it?
It will not heal itself because every time I go to the toilet it will be the same again. Are there any products I can use to make it go or is it surgery only

?

Hi...it sounds like a hemmie, but you should take a look online of images of hemorrhoids and see if that checks out with yours.

I think initially using a hydrocortisone preparation and then something like calmoseptine cream can help.

As well...before you apply it, do a sitz bath in warm water...that should calm the hemmie.

Adding a fibre supplement such as metamucil can help soften your bms and adding some oil such as fish oil can make your bms more slippery and easier to eliminate.

Do get it checked out with a doctor, however.

Quincy, thanks for all your help.

I did read few websites and view some pictures and everything says it is hemorrhoids.

This would explain why it wasn't noticed by endoscopy
" A hemorrhoid formation originating at the inner side or the top side of the internal canal is referred to as an internal hemorrhoid while the one originating near the exiting point or at the lower end of the canal is referred to as external hemorrhoid." I definitely have the external one.

Could you please tell me which one should I choose?
Anusol cream, ointment or suppositories?
It does say that ointment is for internal & external.

Will product like anusol prevent bleeding and itching for longer term?
I am already taking a fiber supplement and my stool is ok now.
