Hi all, I had suffered since the birth of my daughter 12 years ago with obstruction/impaction etc. kept getting told I had IBS. A couple of years ago got acute obstruction, but doctors didn't know why so referred me to colonic surgeon in London.
They diagnosed large Rectocele. Ten months ago had rectocele repair vaginally with permacol.
Everything has been fine for 9 months and then symptoms started up again. Noticed I was getting constipated even after taking movicol and dulcolax. Eventually had huge bloated stomach. My GP told me to take 8 movicol a day and dulcolax. Then he referredme back up to surgeon in London. Am now waiting for a proctagram test. My surgeon said to me I don't think it is a rectocele again, maybe IBS. I am so fed up. I feel it is a bowel prolapse. I am full after eating very little, severely bloated, tired, drained and low stomach pains. Anyone who has experienced this please let me know your symptoms etc.
