Swelling Anus

Hi there, I'm new to this and wasn't sure where to post this question so I just put it here in the general health category. A couple of months ago I had a very hard bowel movement and blood in the stools and I simply ignored it hoping it would go away. After about four bowel movements later I finally noticed that the blood had past. Unfortunately after the blood had past I noticed (after bending over and looking in the mirror), that I had a small brownish colored bubble very close to my anus but only after I had a bowel movement and then it would go away within a minute or so, so once again I ignored it hoping it would go away. Now in the past few days I have noticed that the bubble is always there and is very irritating and I have no idea what it may be or what to do. Please help me, I am very concerned that it may be something dangerous and should be looked at but I'm not certain. Thanks for listening and hopefully I will hear from you soon. Thanks.

Exclamation Re: Swelling Anus

You need call the doctors- that is not normal. I know a lot of people hate going into the Doctor's office. You, need to be seen though there is something very wrong. It almost sounded like you have a hemorrhoids (however you spell it) but then again it is likely not a bubble. Best bet is to go in and be safe.

Re: Swelling Anus

It sounds like hemorrhoids. Get some Perparation H and follow the directions on the tube and see if that doesn't help clear it up. These usually occur when you have strained and have had a hard poo. The tissues gets inflamed and swollen and it stretches and it can cause hemorrhoids. IF you have continuing bright red blood bleeding, get in to see your doctor.
