Frequent Loose Bowel Movements After Eating. Blood.

Hello,

I have had frequent loose bowel movements after eating for some time now. At first I thought it was a lactose intolerance (when I was younger others suspected I had one). I didn't worry about it too much until I cut all milk products out of my diet and nothing changed. I then went to a doctor and he issued a bunch of tests. My stool sample came back positive for blood. I never noticed before since I am color blind. I am now in South Korea for work and am a little concerned over here. (I found out just before I left. I am here for 1 month)

My symptoms:

Loose bowel movements after almost every meal
Blood in stool. Looks dark but when I wipe it looks lighter (unknown color)
No pain whatsoever
No weight loss
No fatigue

Any thoughts?

Sometimes when our meal we just finished eating is high in fat content it can make our stools loose. Try keeping a food diary for two weeks and write down everything you eat, what time, how soon after eating you have a bowel movement and the color and consistency . This hopefully give you an idea what foods are causing the loose bowel movements. You may have an allergy or maybe you need to eat other foods that will help firm up your bowel movements with the food that causes loose stools. As for the blood it could be an internal hemorrhoid, anal fissure, or rectum inside is irritated from the loose stools. Get it checked out thoroughly by a gastroenterologist as soon as possible.
