Unhappy Frequent runny bowel movements with cramping

I have been having Frequent runny bowel movements with cramping for about 2 weeks now. But have been having runny bowel movements for about a year. No one in our house has been sick and i have not traveled out of the country. I have not been to see my Doctor yet because i am not sure if this is an age thing. I am 47.

Thanks

Re: Frequent runny bowel movements with cramping

Hi,
Any change in bowel movements should be investigated.
Similar symptoms sent me to the Dr who referred me to Hospital for a Colonoscopy.
It turned out I had Diverticulitis and IBS.
See your Dr as frequent loose bowel movements or Diarrhea need investigating,
Solofelix.

Hi, go and see your doctor as soon as possible. I wouldn't have thought it was an age thing. Have you tried cutting out all dairy as lactose intolerance can cause those problems.
