On Nov 7th I had my surger. A week later I hadn't gotten an infection in the sphincteroplasty site. Went back to work 4 weeks post op. A week after Christmas I ended up with a fever and discharge from the vagina. They figured I had developed another post op infection. Was on antibiotics and this week went to my surgeons office to make sure there was no abscess or that they fistula wasn't back. Surgeon was out that day so got his assitant. She did a very thorough examin by placing a finger in the vagina and also the rectum and felt all around. Exam wasn't painful but uncomfortable. I mean, who likes fingers up the rear?? Anyway, she said she didn't feel anything, not even a hole anymore
. I do still bleed a bit after a bm but she said that is normal. I never did ask her about when to start having sex. Well, it happened this morning and it didn't hurt at all. I'm still worried that it's too soon even if there is no pain. What do you all think? I can sit on hard chairs and everything now. I actually feel like I didn't even have surgery 2 months ago. Is that crazy??
