One Month Later ....

So it's been almost a month since my major hemorrhoid emergency. I am scheduled to have the rubber band procedure & I'm very worried about it. I'm not sure I can deal with having that procedure without being knocked out. Anyone out there that has had this procedure done I would appreciate to hear your experience.

Also ... So far I have been using a stool softner every night and drinking plenty of water during the day ... My only problem is that sometimes I wake up at 2:30am and have to have my bowel movement and sometimes it's 5:30am. Once I do that them I'm good the rest of the day. My hemorrhoid does come out sometimes but it is much easier for me to put back in and then I don't have any problems.

What am I doing wrong and could I just live with it this way and not have the procedure?

Thanks!
L

Re: One Month Later ....

The procedure is entirely up to you. If you feel you can live with the way it is, you could postpone the procedure if you want. Maybe a dr. could give you a good answer?
