| 2 hemorrhoid bandings not any better-is that normal?
I have internal hemorrhoids, and my doctor recommended hemorrhoidal banding. After the first one, It felt better for about 2 days, and then the itching and burning returned. After the second one, I noticed no difference. There was the same continual itching and burning. Is this normal? Should I be noticing improvement after each one? Or will the third banding suddenly make a huge difference? I am just wondering if other people who have gone through banding have had this same experience and then it got better after the 3rd one, or if this means it just isn't working.
